So all of a sudden the last three to four days my hippo will not come out of hiding. Doesn't seem to be laying on his side or anything like that. His color seems to be okay. Coincidentally or not I did have a banded coral shrimp die the same day the Hippo started acting funny. Everything else in the tank seems to be healthy the other fish crabs etc. All the parameters check good.
Today I pushed some mysis down to his hiding spot didn't seem really interested. That's what made me kind of worried. Should I be worried or no? Are there mouths always open like in the photo? She's been in this tank for probably six to eight months with no issues.
