I have a hippo about 5 inches that will take all my frags from the frag rack and dump them all over the place, he will also pick off crabs and drop them from the top aswell. Anyone else have a tang with a dropping object obsession? He's dropping them in hard to reach spots of course:mad:

I have a hippo that moved frags only from one specific place. It was on a well-lit entrance to a cave. Turns out that this was HIS cave and the frags were blocking his view.
Your hippo is a good size so I'm guessing that you have had him for a while and he is claiming that spot as his territory. You may want to move the frags to the opposite side of the tank because you won't win this battle. :D

My hippo is about 7 in, had him about 10 years. This guy picks up pretty heavy frags and throws them on a bed of recordias to burn![emoji35][emoji23] I've noticed it happens mostly when I'm away every third day and they don't get fed. So... an attitude problem lol!

Moved the rack and he's still at it. I just moved everyone into this new tank so he's being a bugger

Just put one of the frag box around your frags.. they have holes in them, so they'll still have all the proper water movement.. don't let the tang determine the outcome of the tank, lol.. I had a similar issue and that's what did..

your lucky thats all your hippo did. mine was good until last week it started eating my zoas so had to get rid of him.

yeah mine have a good taste of zoas too ate my cb bowsers vivid rainbow and more but didnt touch the ugly zoas

He's driving me nuts picking them up dropping them into my Duncans and hammers. There all over the place really

My pair of black and white clowns like to move everything out of their territory. It has not always been fun. You could always put a rubber band around the end of the frags so they don't come out of the holder/egg crate as easily.

This is a good idea , I clip that would secure the frag.
