Hippo tang being weird

My hippo tang goes up to the surface of the water, takes what appears to be a breath of air and then comes back down again. This is new to her. Anyone seen this before? She’s super fat and eating like a pig, everyone in the tank is acting normally. Not sure what to make of it.

Sounds similar to what foxfaces do. Foxfaces come to the surface and blow bubbles.

That’s funny, I never knew that. None of mine (fox faces) have done that. My genicanthus does that but that’s common in that species.

Sounds like I’m being overly cautious.
