Hello everybody.
I’ve noticed that my hippo tang has been scratching himself using the rocks. Not very often, a few times a day.
He looks very healthy, no spots or irregularities, no labored breathing, eating very well, super fat. All my parameters look fine and other fish are very friendly with him and seem fine.
I used api general cure when he was in QT.
I may have done it too close together (as instructed)
Iit flukes or could be something else

edit:
I lied about my parameters, I forgot my Phosphate is high at .27. It was over 2.5 about 2 weeks ago and I’ve been working it down

Funny that you posted this my hippo has been doing the same all day and all other 24 fish are fine.

New fish? Could be stress flashing or flukes sure…
No. He’s been in there for a few weeks.
He got lymphocystis and scratched those off but that was literally for a day.
I have 6 days off so I’ve been watching them and noticed it.
