Hippo Tang , Sight issues ?

Friends hippo tang seems to be blind or partly blind he couldn't get the food and was losing weight was put in acclimation box and he seems to be able to feel for the food in that smaller area.
Any ideas ?

If the fish is still feeding in the smaller container, then indeed it may be blind. This isn’t anything that can be fixed though….least not that know of.

In my experience if they are cloudy it can be a sign of disease etc. which will clear up if treated. I have had a fish with one eye but never one with both clean looking eyes that I felt was blind. may have to live in a smaller tank or a box alone. Unfortunately may not be a long term fish. Hopefully we are all wrong and it perks up.
