Hi Reef2Reef Friends –

I'd love to get some help identifying the white growth on my recently purchased Blue Hippo Tang. I've had the fish in quarantine for about one month now. It went through 14 days of Copper Power treatment, it's had a freshwater dip, and I've given it two rounds of PraziPro. The fish is eating normally, I don't see it scratching, and it doesn't try to swim into the powerhead.

The copper would have eliminated Ich, no? I don't think it is a fluke; the freshwater dip and two rounds of PraziPro would have addressed that. Is this Lymphocystis?

Thanks for any insights you can offer.

Sincerely,

Paul

Hard to see but since it's been through QT and you describe it as a growth I would suspect lympho.
