Hippo tang with wound?

I have a small hippo tang for two weeks. He is eating frozen food and nori just fine. He has what looks like a wound or a dark indentation on his lower left side. He has started flashing on that side. I tried to take a couple of picks but I have not been able to convince him to hold still. Any idea what could be bothering him?

These are wounds or bite marks.
What other fish do you have in tank with it? Can chromis cause this- Possibly yes.

The pictures aren’t super clear. Indentations in the belly of a tang can just be due to lack of food. It could be a bite mark, but I doubt it was the chromis, more likely the dottyback.
I’m more worried about the two white spots on the black stripe, that could be the start of ich.

I haven't seen the dottyback go after the tang but the tang is new to the tank and he has been hanging around the dottyback's spots. I'll keep a closer eye on the two as well as watching for the ich. That was one of the issues that made me hesitate to buy the Hippo Tang but I finally gave in and decided to give him a try.
