Hippo Tang

Has anyone ever seen this? So I'm sitting here with the blues on just enjoying my tank, and my hippo tang picked up a shell,carried it up to the the top of the tank and dropped it. I was like what the heck...

Yup I had a damsel used to stuff like that and a copperbands that like to move hermits.

Didn't you see Finding Dory? Hippo tangs move shells.

I had a freshwater snail that used to like to take "rides" on aeration bubbles. It would intentionally put itself in the bubble stream and let go of the glass, shooting up to the top of the tank. It would then sink somewhere an in the tank and promptly make its way over to the aeration stone for another go around!

I've have a hippo tsng that I swear was as smart as ever. I had an sps frag fall down into my rock work and was using my tongs to try to get it out. I just couldn't get hold of it good enough to get it out. The hippo was Right there watching the whole time. After a few minutes it started grabbing at the frag with its mouth and trying to lift it out. I'll bet it took 10 tries until it finally got it out carried it to the front of the tank and dropped it as if to say there you go. I was blown away
