My Hippo has white spots, I wouldn't say they are bumps or perfectly circular (definitely doesn't seem to be ich or velvet).
I am suspecting flukes, but the spots are definitely raised from the scales (which is contrary to the info I have seen on flukes). The Hippo has it the worst (body, fins, and even on the eye) and gets a few more every day and then some may move? Not sure exactly on the moving spots.
My yellow tang has one spot too.
The Hippo has had them for the past month. The yellow tang has had his one spot for at least a few days. It all started after I added a few Lyretail anthias last month... the lyretails have no spots now but one had a spot the day after I put them in.
Do you think I am on track with the flukes? I am considering a fresh water dip tomorrow to see what happens since it seems to be safe. I also think I will get another cleaner shrimp and add a cleaner wrasse if the local store has one.
I am going to add some photos after this message but the fidelity is low on the photos.
