Colonial tunicate, you maybe able to separate it off the gorg. It will grow and cover parts of the gorg, or die from malnutrition. Either way, It is killing the gorg.

It has grown pretty rapidly since i bought the gorg. I feed phyto twice a day small amounts . I.just read about it and may try and save it some how . thank you for the help

GL hopefully youll be able to divide the 2 and place the tunicates on their own rock. They are very pretty and unique.

If you want to save it, cut the gorgonian above the tunicate colony, don't try peeling the tunicate off or something like that

The gorgonian will grow back anyway so might as well sacrifice the side branches To give the tunicate colony an interesting shape to grow on

I agree. I'd keep it -- it's cool.
