Hitch hiker can anyone id

Got some trochus snails from a good fish store by me. One of the bigger snails has something stuck to its shell,it's long thin stringy black and yellow stripes not sure if it's alive but it looks like it picks up sand. Can anyone ID it

May be a spaghetti worm

Yeah, looks like a spaghetti worm. Detritivores. May mildly annoy corals if they set up shop by one and repeatedly touch it, but otherwise harmless.

I've never seen one build a hard shell like that one seems to have. It's definitely a spaghetti worm, though- it's got the spaghetti.
