Yesterday I picked up a zoe frag that had what I thought was a dead skeleton on the rock. This was a wild collected zoe rock that was fragged by the LFS.

When I got home I dipped it and then added it to my tank. Low and behold the hitch hiker is alive. In the photo it is to the upper left of the larger group of zoes. It is kinda pink/purple with pink/brownish pollups.

Not shure what it is, but what ever it is I kinda like it.

Very interesting! It seems we have a general consinceus.

I don't know much about porites. So feel free to educate me.

Thanks MoneyPit. That was a very good write up.

Sounds like a pretty cool hitch hiker. I really bought the peice for the nice zoe's. I thought the porites were dead. Bonus!
