Otherwise if you google 'saltwater hitchhikers' there are a number of results...If you don't get any beneficial ones through hitchhiking on live rock or coral frags you can buy most of them.

coolest hitch-hiker that snuck into my tank was a macro-algae, nemastoma sp. I was watching it grow after finding it then found out tangs love it the hard way. I egg crated a cage for the remainder in my tank which was only a pencil tip left from a half-dollar sized piece. Now i have 4-5 inches of the stuff and frag it for local reefers and trades.

I used tukani live rock and it was loaded with snails, chiton, micro stars, pods, bristleworms and many other hitchhikers

I added live rock from a reputable vendor and got some great hitchhikers. I even ended up with a scutus.
