Hitchhiker Coral??

So I just saw this guy growing out of some rock behind my frogspawn. Is it some kind of hitchhiker or did my leather tree coral decide to frag itself? It's in a really tough spot to see so the video isn't the best. Well it's actually better than I can see with my eyes since I could zoom in a little...

So my Kenya tree decided to frag itself and now there is another one growing way down there behind my rocks. That's so interesting! Is that normal?

I have had Kenya tree do that. They just randomly drop and sprout up somewhere different.

Yep, Kenya tree. As stated above, drop branches and then before you.know it........you have them everywhere haha!

Haha! At least I know where I stand. I'm actually surprised more people from that industry aren't drawn to the hobby.

There's a few people that I know that I work with that's in to it, but that's just my department. I'm sure there are alot more. I'm at the main plant in savannah ga, there's quite a number of us there lol so meeting them all would almost be impossible. Yeah I saw you were a engineer in California so I was thinking maybe you worked for gulfstream in long beach or something along those lines

I'm not too far from long beach actually, Manhattan Beach but different company . I don't think we're direct competitors at least, I've only worked on space projects. And besides the James Webb Space Telescope is for everyone really. Glad to hear you have some reef buddies in your department. I got my boss into it but he just started cycling his tank.

Always fun to have a buddy in the hobby as well. Grumman was gulfstream before it was gulfstream actually. The grumman "gulfstream" 1. It's a long line of confusion haha, but gulfstream was born from grumman. Which was apparently the same company, but they named it the name of the gulfstream.....I'm already confusing myself.....and branched off into what we are today. Space? You are in a completely different world than I am haha. But we are expanding so much now that they might try something crazy haha, wouldn't surprise me.

So confusing! I know we were grumman before gulfstream. Other than that or what become of grumman afterwards is unknown by me haha. I'm gonna head to bed, it's 1 in the morning here haha.
