sorry moderators if this is the wrong place for this, but a couple folks and me on the forum had a wonderful idea; a lot of people have unwanted hitchhikers and a lot of forumers probably wouldn't mind taking in some of these unwanted animals, especially for local pickups. I debated posting this in the marketplace but there isn't necessarily money being traded for hitchhikers. I personally wouldn't mind paying a few dollars for unwanted polychaetes etc, but im not sure how others feel in regards to that.

i figure it saves the lives of a few unwanted animals at the least and maybe brings the hobby a little closer together at the best

thoughts?

This is an amazing idea. I have run a pest tank for two years now in an area with a large reefing community, and even being active in the community and LFS, it is oddly hard to find interesting pests and hitchhikers. I'll get a text once or twice a month, but normally it's just somebody worried about finding a Gorilla during a tank breakdown, or a larger Bristleworm that crawled out of a rock. I've been starved for some of the more fun pests out there.

ive also been looking for a bobbit after watching a video on one on youtube, not your average thing to want but definitely on the unique side, ide pay for shipping and whatever needed if anyone finds some! would be sick
