Found this little guy swimming around in my overflow the other day. No Idea where he came from. Tank is six months old, and all the rock was either dry or from my other tank. I assume he came in with snail as they’re the only thing in my tank that didn’t get dipped or QTed. Any ideas what it may be?

I’ve been trying, but that’s the best I have thus far. It’s really tiny, and hides every time I get near it. I will continue to peak with camera at the ready until I get a better one.

That’s odd, I am at a loss. At first glance I thought it was a FW livebearer of some sort but it’s not at closer inspection. Watching!

It will be hard to tell without a better view of eyes, mouth. And position of fins. One fish that seems to somewhat commonly hitchhike into tanks is the rain water killifish.

Did you add cheato to the tank? That seems like a common vector for fish eggs

I think we have a winner. Hard to get pics. There’s only a few inches between the tank and the wall.
