We got some bumblebee snails... got them home, in the tank and realized, one of these is not like the other.... I know it's a hermit but it doesn't have the distinctive blue legs to. Should I fish it out? Or is it ok?

Photo under white light would be of great help in identifying. Watch him closely, particularly when the lights are out. See how he is behaving and respond accordingly.

If it was my tank he found his way in I would be leaving him in, then if he got too big move him on.

I'm not sure how likely it is to get a hitchhiker from Hawaii nowadays but from my experience with marine inverts there, I'm pretty sure its part of the Calcinus genus. Possibly C. guamensis but I wont try to make assumptions yet :)

Awesome, yes, I think you are right @Sonofives looked it up and it looks a lot like a dwarf zebra hermit. I'm going to obserb more of its behavior just to make sure. Cool addition for a herbivore if it is.

I just added some more shells in today. Odd question and probably a stupid one. But does it matter where the shells are in the tank? I try and hide them around on the rock work. My partner thinks they look unsightly when nothing is in them.

Ok so I just needed to update this thread. I am amazed at how fast this guy is growing. He had recently moved to this shell. It's one of the biggest shells I've putin this tank. It's growing so fast. It's beginning shell is in the bottom left. He is in the shell on the right.

Just got home from Kauai and these guys were everywhere in tide pools. Tiny as all get out. Took a lot of will power to not grab a bunch. Too cute!
