Hello, first time posting.

I bought a zoa frag yesterday and when I dipped it and brushed it with a toothbrush 2 tiny, skinny, black worms came off. The worms were very active, possibly because the dip was killing them. They almost looked like they were writhing.

I also did a freshwater dip which I wouldn’t usually do, but thought I better had as I have no idea if these worms are good or bad.

The Zoas have been opening up fine so far but obviously only been in a day.

Any idea what these worms could be?

Sorry I didn’t get a photo. D’oh!

Kinda hard to say without a pic as there are so many worms. But as you obviously know that’s why we dip. Good or bad you know you did your best for your coral.
