I received this ricordea last week and it’s on a decent size rock (approx 4”x4”).
Dipped for 10 mins but looks like something made it.
Looks to be some sort of filter feeder. 5 tentacles I can see approx 2”-2.5” long each, they seem to be responsive to light when I shine a flashlight on them. If I touch them with a probe they are slow to retract. Only come out at night. Filter hairs are perpendicular to the main stalk. They can curl and retract back into a hole in the rock.
I haven’t been able to get a look at anything but the tentacles.
any ideas?
