As far as I know it's only 1 thing. It has a super hard shell, and was tough to pry off the plumbing

Not harming anything that I can tell. It was fixed to a plumbing fixture in my external fuge. I think it came in on a turbo snail shell that I added to my fuge.

If you have one and they do.not split asexually than I guess they don't

People pay money to have these things in their tank as clean up crew. Reefcleaners.org sells a fuzzy chiton.
