The front of it is the perfect shape for it and it reminds me of the White-lined dirona. Not saying that is what it is, just that it reminds me of one like it.
Have you ever seen it move? Was it there when you put the colony in the tank or did it appear after?

It could be a single tentacle of a Chaetopterid/Spionid worm.
What am I seeing in the picture? There's little white lines coming from little mounds.

Sometimes the best hints are the things directly around a critter, not the critter themselves.....
If I had to guess, I would say Chaetopterid/Spionid
