This guy was on an acro frag. I know it's a snail but I;ve never seen one reaching like this. Doesn't look like my snails. Good or bad? before I throw him away...

Not to steal your thread but I got one on a frag that if identical but dark brown almost black, same kind just different color?

Yep, all are good just don't mess with them too much or they will detach their tails lol I have some that are white brown and black

Sort of. They're all from the same genus, Stomatella, but the different colors could be indicative of a different species.

Curious. As they breed in my tanks I seem to get colors unrelated to the others that are most common in my population. Black being the most noteable. Months without a black one then one or two the same size as the rest of the new brood.

I've had it happen as well. I have no doubt ones from the same species can be different colors, but it's not necessarily the case.
