Hi all
New set up & added live rock, 2 weeks in & found what I thought was a polyp of some sort. It was in a crack so I could only see the edges it was folded in half. It seemed to have short tentacles around the outer edge of the disk like a zoanthid. Well it disappeared for a day only to turn up in another location so I guess it's not a polyp, it is round on a stem and covered with short tentacles!
Am I screwed?
I think I up loaded 2 pictures
Thanks

Could be a mojano. Pretty easy in a new tank.
Pull the rock and use a screwdriver and scrape it off.

What I have found is that majanos come in many forms? Most of them have longer tentacles with and without bulbous features. What a trip this thing could be anything! Going for the screwdriver!

Yup. Many many types of mojanos.
Some extravagantly beautiful in fact.

Kill it.

Lol
