Hitchhiker Identification?

Hi everyone!

So I just picked up a couple new plants for my tank and noticed this creepy like alien-like hitchhiker in the bag! Any ideas on what it might be??

hi, type of aiptasia nem.
looks like a free swimming one.

Its an actual anemone and either remove it first or remove contents and leave it stuck to bag and discard.
Should another pop up in the tank, using a syringe, inject either lemon juice or better yet. . kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the very center core and it will melt away

That’s definitely a nem, looks like an aptaisia to me. I agree with Vette in terms of getting rid of it.

On another topic, what plant is it? It looks beautiful.

I'm over medicated so @i cant think or see that good right now. I'm glad the other guys @fishguy242 & @vetteguy53081 have weighed in on an Aiptasia diagnosis. I am looking at that bag and wondering what kind of spider or starfish or million-legged creature was presented for identification here.

I'm going to yield to the guys and agree it appears to be Aiptasia?

Definitely looks like aptasia.

UPDATE: I emailed the place where we got the plants to see if they could ID and they said, "Those are hydroids, get rid of them."

The shaving brush is the one I liked most, nice and big too, great score!
