Hitchhiker inside a Goni

Hey all,
this Goni just got added to the tank but it wasnt until after everything settled that i saw this guy poke his head(?) out of a small hole in the side of the coral.
i know its not a detailed pictured but even if you were in my living room with me - this is all you would see too

Did you dip it before adding to your tank. If not you probably want do that asap. Do a search here to see what people use.

Search here to find out what you need to dip corals with before putting them in your tank. This will help with killing off bad hitchhikers.

the black thing you're seeing is the hitchhiker - he looks slug-like. the hole he lives in is just a small slit in the skeleton of the goni
