Hitchhiker LPS ID?

I've been buying some Indonesian live rock during the summer, that has been covered in dead baby LPS colonies of some kind, skeletons consisting of only a few polyps here and there. With my last rock however, one of those skeletons was not as "dead" as it appeared to be, and it has rebounded! Anyone have any thoughts to as to what it could be?

Cool! Hard to say with just that photo. You might try the AIMS database and find species local to where the rock was collected.

Are you certain it’s Indonesian? It looks a lot like some common Florida hitchhiker corals. Lookup pics of the coral below:

Phyllangia americana
Siderastrea Siderea

Absolutely certain, we don't import rock from Florida over here.

Closest match I've found thus far is: Leptastrea purpurea.

It doesn't look like a leptastrea. Can you take a photo of it with its tentacles retracted please?

oculina patagonia is from the atlantic, not the indo-pacific
