Hitchhiker on a new frag

Just picked up this frag yesterday (still on the frag rack) and it would appear we have a little hitchhiker on it. I'm guessing I should probably just bring the frag back and exchange it... if I were so inclined, is there a safe way to remove that?

Looks like a feather duster. Shouldn’t hurt anything but if you’re nervous about it pick it off with tweezers.
Looking at the way its tentacles are shaped. It does resemble a barnacle. I think one way to know is if the feeding tentacles move/pulsate frequently. If yes, then it’s most likely a barnacle but if no, then a feather duster worm.
