Hitchhiker on frag

Not sure if this is an anemone or a ‘baby’ Xenia polyp? If it is an anemone, is it the nuisance type? Got this frag about a week ago from LFS. Thanks in advance for any info

Thanks for the rapid response. I assumed it was bad from seeing other posts, but definitely wanted to get a second opinion. There was actually two on there. All my previous salt water experience is fish only. Reef is definitely a whole different league. Lol

That's pulsing xenia, can spread very rapidly, can be very invasive and take over tanks (read dripping with sarcasm).

I gotcha. It’s segregated from the main rock structure. I’ve read those posts as well.

I i have 2 colonies of Xenia in my tank .I love the stuff BUT i did leave them on movable rocks so i can take them out and trim as needed.Just a thought
