This has been on my snail for awhile until it detached today and seems to be alive, anyone have any guesses as to what it is?

They are limpets, I think this specific type might be called slipper limpet? There are some species of limpets that attach to hermit crab shells and snails and eat their poop and debris. Something must've went wrong to make it fall off. Not a nudibranch, they dont have shells.

+1 slipper limpet. Idk if it will survive without a host to live on. Maybe place on a piece of rubble.
