Hello,

Can anyone ID these?

I've had this frag for over a month, and these blue polyps are choking out the zoa babies underneath. They grow pretty fast, and something in my tank has been eating them evey few days, but im not sure what is grazing on them, as I haven't seen anything picking at it. Foxface, sterry blenny, CUC?

They look to me like clove polyps, but I'm no expert.

Thanks

not a great pic, but google blue cloves or japanese blue cloves, they can be invasive. VERY invasive.

Yea, sorry about that. I can't seem to get this camera figured out on my new phone. I hate it soooo much....

Japanese blue cloves, that's it! Is there any way to kill them without harming the zoas? Or should I just cut my losses? I really don't want them taking over my tank.

Thanks again for your help Salty. You are awesome!

Aww, thanks. If you can get the zoa off I would do so.(wear eye protection) then toss the plug,

Okay. I was able to pop the rock from the plug, but I couldn't scrape all of the cloves off, so I hit it with super glue. That's when things got out of hand.

Not my best work. lol... hope they make it. Thanks guys.
