Hey! I think this is my first post- long time lurker though!
I found this guy cruising around my 10g today, I did a few searches online and I think he seems like he may be an Elysia sp. if so, I'd like to keep him because he seems like he'd be beneficial. I'd like a second opinion before putting him back in the tank.
The slug is very small, less than a half inch long. He looks dark in coloration but I think that looks like his "insides." I think his biggest characteristic is the crease down the center of his back, with two ridges on each side. I believe I saw ruffly ridges like this on several Elysia species I saw pictures of.
If it makes a difference, the tank I found him in is zoanthid only. Sorry for the photo quality, but I hope these are good enough to at least get an ID. Thanks!
