I added this colony today and noticed whatever this seems to be opening and closing on my coral. Anyone able to ID this?

That's what I was thinking. Possible scallop? Doesn't look like an electric or flame though.

Not likely. Common bivalve tend to anchor in one place. Scallops move around
 
Yep bivalve or a small clam/scallop from what I can see. Nothing to worry about really. You can always glue it shut. The Zoa’s will grow over it. I have a clam hitchhiker and my Zoa’s killed it for me...lol.
