ok, my tank is cycled, and still empty right now, i have my quarantine tank up and running. i bought some cheato for my refugium to help to bring my nitrates down, apparently there were a couple of tiny snails in the cheato which are now in my DT, so my question is, since i was about to order some CUC critters, can i basically quarantine them in my DT? add them and wait 8 weeks before i add fish? i was considering either a few cardinals or green chromis to start off with so ill put them in the QT and treat them then after the 8 weeks add them to the DT?

Sounds like a good plan to me . Just make sure you keep an eye on parameters and that the CUC doesn’t run out of food.
