Hitchiker ID Please? Friend or Foe?

Can anyone ID these critters emerging from my refugium? Should I be worried about them?

Aiptasia -- big time foe, so your best to remove them. Should note that a broken piece of them can regenerate. I like to inject them with Kalk paste.

Agree you will want to remove them, they are a pest.

How do I inject them with Kalk paste? They are in an area of my sump very tough to get to. This is going to be time consuming.

You can also put in some peppermint shrimp. They can help but they are not a guarantee.

there is a little zapper stick that you can buy i forget what its called but its basically a stick with an electrode that kills them...in a refuge it'll be great, but in a MT you have to be careful to not hit other corals with the electrode...see mike palletta's 300 gallon reef tank on youtube he mentions it by name in there just dont remember the name at this time

they also have joes juice i belive that comes with a syrnge to get aptasia

Lemon juice with boiling water also can work.
