Anyways, I new to R2R but not to the saltwater game. Just starting a new tank, I've been out of it for a good 6+ years. Few floods on the second floor made me shut the first one down. This build is going to be slightly bigger and a heck of a lot better! I got most of the set up from a good friend, basically his whole set up for a pretty good deal.
Few specs:
56 gallon Reef Savvy Tank
ATI T5 6x39w Powermodule Fixture
Trigger System Sump
Reef Octopus SUPER SRO 1000INT Skimmer
Eheim 1262 Return Pump
Bubble Magus BM-T01 Dosing Pump
NextReef MR1 Media Reactor (might not use due to size & fitment in sump)
Lots of sand and rocks!
I'm looking to get one of two Vortech pumps, a MP40wES and a MP10wES (if it will hold on 1/2" glass.) Tank is going to be mix, but more so towards the SPS side. Currently I am redoing the plumbing as the previous owner some what IMO rigged it but did a good job on it. I just want to "perfect" it in my mind. Once that is done, the tank will be filled up and ready to go! Woot!
