I'm new to the hobby. I bought my tank over a year ago. At that time I knew we were going to need to tent our house, so I slowly bought things and stored them in the tank until after the tenting. Once that finally happened we started talking about moving. Honestly, it seemed like it was ever going to be the right time. Black Friday of last year my husband gave me his blessing to buy whatever I wanted for the tank, and so I bought almost everything I wanted, including an Apex. Now that we've moved in, its time to get this beauty going.

Welcome to R2R Plenty of help to be found here if you have questions. Don’t forget to post a build thread. We like pictures to look at. Hope you enjoy your tank and the best of luck with it.
Will do, thank you! Here's a sneak peek of what's to come:

Welcome to R2R!!!!
Congratulations on your move and move forward to setting up the tank. It has been long overdue. Now, be sure to go slow as you move through the process of setting up. This slow progress will pay dividends in the future.

I totally plan on it. I'm going to start bleach curing my rock tomorrow, so hope to start cycling next week sometime. I know its a learning process, but I definitely want to try and give myself a good foundation to start off from.

I want to give you the best advice possible and that would be to get the good lights now. Let your tank grow and do the “set it and forget it and you won’t regret it”. I know it’s a big hurdle to jump and buy lights but it’s going to make all the difference from day one.

Mannnn, of course, you had to say that. Anything you would recommend?

I knowww I had to! But it’s true. Well I’ve really been happy with my AI Prime HDs. I’m not running them anywhere near their 100%. I would honestly recommend 1 Radion XR15 Gen4 Pro with a diffuser. It’s what I would have done if I didn’t already own a Prime HD I had on another tank.

Okay, looks like I need to add this to my list of research, and start working that side hustle. LOL
