I have a sailfin tang in quarantine for 2 weeks now. I just noticed this today. Is it the beginning of HLLE? Sorry for the bad pics.

No copper, did 5 days of pazi. Other than that clean water changed every 3-4 days

How do I stop it. I read it's not really a disease?

Start feeding him lots of nori and vitamin enriched foods. Also, check for stray voltage in your QT and are you running carbon in QT?

Odds are it will clear up after he goes into the DT.

Ok the only thing in my QT is a brand new heater and the HOB filter, no carbon. He won't eat nori, I don't know why. He eates everything else in the world. Glad to know it will probably go away. Thank you humblefish

Ok the only thing in my QT is a brand new heater

I would test the water using a voltmeter, just to be sure the new heater isn't leaking any stray voltage. Test while the heater light is on.
