Have some of them in my sump and in the cracks of my rock work. They dont seem to do much of anything. Could be an eye sore depending on what youre going for though

Thanks for the replies. It's a piece of rock sitting in the middle of one of my FOWLR tanks - surprised my puffer hasn't eaten it yet.
