I don't remember where I saw it. But there was a posting asking if people use hob filters on their water changing stations? Is this normal practice?

I've never heard of doing that. The only thing I leave running on my mixing station is a powerhead that runs 4 hours out of the day. If I understand correctly from other threads I don't believe that is even necessary.

It would be hard for most people to use hob equipment of mixing stations because they're often made from round containers. Mine uses two brute cans.
