Problem 1: In the the prefiter box where the utube water exits. I noticed that the pvc tube is slightly above the water level and keeps making a long 2 second flush sound every few mins. Other than that its a constant loud annoying gurling sound.

2nd Problem: the water is rapidly flowing into my sock thats in my sump. Its making a loud waterfall sound!! My water level is about half full in my sump (to save myself from overflowing if it may happen). How can i fix this?

problem 1 you could try a maggie muffler or a duroso to quiet it, but the stand pipe design is pretty noisy.

problem 2 put a piece of pipe into the bulkhead extending it to the water level..

Those maggiemufflers look goood where can i get them, i dont see aplace to order on their site

I Think i will try the maggie, i found one on aqua cave for about 20 dollars. You think it will quiet it better than the duroso?
