hob refugium query

Hi fellow reefers,

I have a jbj 65g AIO. Planning to add a hang on the back refuge to cultivate copepods for my fussy mandarin goby. Will the pods flowing back into the back-chamber from the refuge ever make it to the display tank through return pump ? Or it’s a waste solely for copepod cultivation ?Any specifichob refuge that you recommend?

The pods will definitely make it through the return pump, as long as the return pump doesn’t have a superfine prefilter or anything on it.

Get the biggest refugium that you can. Dragonets go through a ton of pods (although I prefer using a brine shrimp feeder)
