HOB Skimmer on Rimless Tank?

I have a Nuvo 38 that I am building right now. I have a Reef Octopus BH-2000 skimmer that I want to use on it. Its a larger skimmer rated for about 100 gallons.

Is it ok to hang this on the back of a rimless tank?

Will it cause problems due to the weight?
