Anyone running one? Or have opinions on these? I don't have any room below the tank for anything. Since I have plenty of room on either side of my aquarium i was thinking about picking one up. Thoughts?

Ran one for 3yrs on my 26g, although it was strictly a Refugium. Only suggestion...go bare bottom with it. Detritus build up is a bugger to clean with a sandy bottom-lol-speaking from experience. Otherwise they're awesome for those who haven't the room.

Awesome, I'll look into it then. Did you buy a kit from somewhere. Or did you build it yourself?

If you are a bit handy or like DIY projects this is a fun one to do. I built one for a local Reefer a few years ago and was only a couple hour project and built of scrap acrylic from an area Plastic Store for a cost of maybe $5, a few dollars more if you need the solvent/glue.

Not the best pics because really wasn't thinking of ever posting it I guess. This one fit behind a 28g Bio-cube and gravity fed back into last chamber and was fed by small pump from first chamber if I remember correctly.

Another quick question on refuges... I see a lot of people out there heaters in there to give the tank a better look. Since the refugium is obviously smaller than the DT, should you get a heater rated for the size of the aquarium tank? Or the smaller refugium?
