Hobbit Bounce

Hey everyone,

I'm interested in picking up a hobbit bounce in the future, and just wondering if anyone can provide some pictures of what they should look like, and anything I should look for when purchasing that may alarm me that it's not a hobbit.

Not my picture, but this is from a well known reefer, and a well known reef photographer. Not sure if they are on the forum, otherwise I would have tagged them.

I think @Tyler97 has some with legit lineage and could probably post a picture or confirm identity.
Also do a quick search in bar up to find a bunch to compare.

I don't think so, but possible its just the lighting. They should have a lot more dark orange. Some of them will get the pink splatter on the larger clear bubbles like Vargas' photo.

Can you post a picture of the original Hobbit for refference? Awesome post BTW would be super helpful for future peeps especially myself as I'm also looking in to getting one here soon.

You can see the original one at 2:11 in this vid MD did a while back. I had it a few years prior to 2015.

This is mine currently. Some bubble huge some don't. May be more related to tank conditions. There is also one in my avatar.

I've seen Hobbits in all kinds of bad lighting pictures, looks very close. I agree with you the pic is not an ideal candidate for sure.

I don't think its legit, but I could be wrong. Do you notice how much more orange vesicles are on them, and not on that one you posted? Again could be lighting.
