First off I want to say this isn't a sale threads, nor will I tell you what strains of zoas I'm asking about. I'm switching my tank to Acropora only and am looking to clear out the zoas I've collected. I'm going to post them for sale locally as I don't want to deal with shipping. My question is how do I come up with pricing? I know what I paid for small individual polyp frags, but if I sold my collection now at that price it would be outrageous. I was thinking roughly 25% of vendor pricing is fair?

As you probably know corals go for different prices all over the country. Just depends what people want to pay. When I sold corals it always just depended on the strain of zoas, also how much they bought. But usually if it was common 10 to 15 a frag, more expensive ones I sold 50 to 75 market.

It really depends on what they are... A colony of something rare a vendor can frag and sell is very different from a huge colony of something thats harder to sell.

1P of Utter Chaos is $15.. 10 Polyps is $60-70
1P of GMK is $1000 - 10 Polyps is $8000

Volume discount drops rapidly if its common.. Less so if it's extremely desirable. Try using them to trade for acros too... I traded a dude a nice selection of acros recently for some zoas.. We were both super stoked with out trade.. He got a homewrecker, walt disney, cc voodoo magic, av99 orange crush, rr pink cadillac, and a RMF pricess peach.. in exchange for a smorgasborg of collector zoas I wanted to add to my collection including a zoa ive been hunting for months.
