hofer gurgle buster for Eshopps PF 800

Looking to build one today. Issue is 1" pvc diameter is to large to fit in the overflow bulk head and 3/4 would be to sloppy.

Anyone have experience with building one for that box?

I built 2 thing for that same box neither was effective. one slowed the flow one was still noisy.
You may hate this. I used the round foam tube that comes with pf800 kit and placed it over the bulkhead.
no pvc.
dead silent.

it does get louder when it needs to be cleaned.

yea mess with it youll find the spot. It just kinda sticks there from the suction.
