Hola all! New 29 gallon tank.

Just started a new 29 gallon salt water tank. Its been about two weeks now, I have a few live rock in the tank now and a couple of damsels. My question is... The sand on the bottom is now getting this brown algae growing on it. Is that normal? :squigglemouth:

Very normal. They are called diatoms and are to be expected in a new tank.

Welcome to R2R. You tank will get even uglier when first starting out, but with proper maintenance it will pass.
