hola fellow reefers!
comin at you from the pacific northwest,
I go by skimerwhisperer on RF and skimmy on RC.
I has 15+ years reefing experience, and 10 years experience in professional sales, designing and installing home reef/coral propagation/LFS display systems.
As my name implies, I am a complete skimmer nut! Installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying skimmers for years.
I love good skimmers that offer quiet and trouble free operation...
Not just fancy high end German/Italian skimmers, but more especially the recently produced, cheaper, lower quality, underdog skimmers that punch their way to the top through offering equal power and design features that big boy skimmer companies offer, albeit with less expensive fabrication, parts, pumps etc... But that's o.k. because, lets face it...as a whole, WE IS BROKE, and need cheaper gear that still works well.
Not that I wouldnt own a BK, ATB, Deltec...I would if I could! :smile:
