I would leave it alone unless there is a discoloration. My yellow leather split but is still looking happy. Hope it works out.

I sometimes see holes like this in my toadstool when it is about to shed. My leathers will close up super tight for about 3 days and then begin to shed and open up even better than before!

Completely normal. This is one way they self-frag -- the hole will likely get bigger and/or multiply... might start to look like Swiss cheese but it's fine.
