Did a water change last night. 35 gallon change and I was blowing the sand around the carpet. Well this morning I look and boom.... I guess I got it angry... it moved up my rocks but now the clowns are all in in loving it.

He sure seems to be showing you just what he thinks of your maintenance practices. lol

So they were hosting the bubble tips right there before and didnt look at the carpet, now.. its like a whole new play ground

And this is the reason I do not keep carpets in a tank with sps.

As to the question of do carpets eat clowns, no. If you give the clown a chance to become acclimated to the carpet. My Domino Damsel resided in my Haddoni without issue.

Haddoni are no doubt fish eaters, but typically not clowns if the clown is given the chance to acclimate to the anemone.

Ok he moved back down, near his original spot but over on the other side of the rock i placed to block him. Hes good there for me, he may be planted right on top of a red mushroom but thats ok.

Just a heads up, "blocking" him is only an illusion. They can push a great amount of rock out of the way if they want to go somewhere. My haddoni, I was convinced wanted to rescape the tank :p No more haddonis for me.
